Based on the issues encountered in the production process of the rolling mattress machine before the improvements, corresponding solutions were researched and summarized as follows:
- The pressing plate often damages the non-woven fabric bag of the mattress springs when pressing down on the mattress because the contact area between the pressing plate and the mattress is small, and the compression is applied directly. This issue can be solved by gradually increasing the compression and increasing the contact area in the rolling mattress machine.
- The mattress is not compressed vertically, causing the springs to tilt excessively and tear the non-woven fabric bag. If both the top and bottom of the mattress move at the same speed, the mattress will compress vertically in the rolling mattress machine, thus solving this problem.
- Downtime for loading mattresses reduces production efficiency in the rolling mattress machine. If the pressing plate has a larger area, the next mattress can be placed before the previous one is fully rolled, allowing for continuous production in the rolling mattress machine, thereby solving this issue.
Based on the above analysis and solutions, the original pressing plate mechanism is removed, and a belt pre-pressing mechanism is designed and added to the rolling mattress machine to solve the existing problems.
